Class 10 Science Sample Question Paper 2022-23
The paper starts with a few instructions for the students. it is
suggested to read all instructions very carefully before reading any questions
to avoid any last minute’s panic in the exam hall. As CBSE Class 10 Session
2022-2023 has begun and students must go through the CBSE Class 10 Science
Sample Paper 2023 released by CBSE for the academic year 2022-23. The CBSE
Class 10 Science Board Exam will be of descriptive nature for which the time
allotted is 3 hours for 39 questions. The question paper consists of 39
questions divided into 5 sections. The sample papers of class 10th are prepared
based on the exam pattern and the total weightage, where mixed types of
questions are given. In the mixed questions there are very short type, short
answer types questions, case study based and long answer types of questions.
Type of questions in CBSE Class 10 Science Sample Question Paper 2022-23
- 20 objective type questions, carrying 1 mark each.
- 6 Very Short answer type questions, carrying 2 mark each.
- 7 Short Answer type questions, carrying 03 marks
each. - 3 Long Answer type questions, carrying 05 marks
each. - 3 source-based/case-based units of assessment of
04 marks each with sub-parts.

- Download the sample paper pdf for below.
- Take a print out on paper if possible or put phone on flight mode before start solving.
- Complete full syllabus before start solving any sample papers.
- Create a exam like environment at your home.
- Don’t use phone or books to check anything like formula or any definitions etc.
- Set a timer of 3 hour and start solving the paper with full concentration.
- After completing full paper, check solution and do self evaluation.
